Bao Lin Chan Monastery is a not for profit Buddhist Meditation Centre, located in the South East of Melbourne. Established in 2008, it is the first branch of Chung Tai Chan Monastery in the Southern Hemisphere. With 108 sister monasteries worldwide, the Zen teachings are profound and have direct lineage back to Shakyamuni Buddha.

Guided by Grand Master Wei Chueh’s great vows of compassion and wisdom, Bao Lin offers free weekly English and Chinese Meditation classes, Dharma talks and Buddhist services. Set in a serene and calm environment, it provides many with the opportunity to benefit from thousand year old Zen enlightening teachings.
